So I was walking back from the corner store this morning and got a song stuck in my head. It is a kids’ clapping/jumprope/whatever song that some may remember (full lyrics pulled from the net):
Say, Say oh playmate
Come out and play with me
and bring your dollies 3
climb up my apple tree
slide down my rain barrel
into my cellar door
and we’ll be jolly friends
forever more – more – more !Anyway, for whatever reason, my mind put a rather, erm, adult spin on the lyrics that fits so well that I can’t help but wondering if I’m seeing something that is actually there. Anyone else ever notice anything with the song?

Xanga’s Currently Playing doesn’t have a listing for what I’m listening to right now, so I’m doing my own version:

I thought it was…
Say, Say oh playmate
Come out and play with me
and bring your dollies 3
climb up my apple tree
slide down a rainbow
into my sicamore
and we’ll be jolly friends
forever more – more – more !
… but its been a while, so I might be wrong.
*chuckle* hard to say – you know how kids are with lyrics – creative in interpretation to say the least.
I heard it a Cee, Cee my play mate.
